Poster Design

Umore Azoka is the name of a Street Art Performance Festival that takes place in Leioa, in the Basque Country in Spain. Umore Azoka means Good Humour in Basque and the festival consist of a variety of shows from theatre, dance, comedy, circus, etc.

I submitted my poster proposal design, which is based on a photograph of an articulated hand that tries to convey all the arts together. The hands are probably the most expressive element in arts and here even the fingers are playing with the typography, alluding to the circus. The lauburo is a Basque symbol that signifies a shamrock with four heads and it is commonly used as an identity of the Basque Country.
